Why
PokedYou.com?
This webhosting
service is dedicated to our son and brother,
Ryan. We lost Ryan in an auto accident on
March 4, 2003. Ryan had just turned 16 two
months before and was driving in a snowstorm
on a steep hill when he lost control of his
car.
You
probably hadn't met Ryan. That's too bad. He
was a wonderful, caring, sincere,
thoughtful, full-of-life kid with so much
promise. Those who knew Ryan were better
people for having known him.
Now, the
reason for the name. Ryan used to come up to
us at the oddest times and poke us in
the shoulder. He'd, of course, say "Poked
you." He was also quite fond of randomly
blurting out the word "Monkey!" Hence the
monkey poking himself as a logo for
PokedYou.com.
Amongst
his many activities Ryan was very active in
the Youth Group at West Bowles Community
Church in Littleton, Colorado. One of the
events Ryan looked most forward to each year
was the big trip the High School group took
to such exotic places as California,
Washington, D.C., New York, or Chicago. We
set up an educational fund in Ryan's honor
at the church to allow less fortunate kids
to go in his place. 15 kids were helped by
Ryan's fund this year.
It is our
sincerest hope to continue Ryan's fund.
Therefore we will donate any and all profits
from the operation of this webhosting
service to the Ryan Keller Youth Group
Educational Fund in his honor.
We
appreciate your support of PokedYou.com and
truly thank you for helping us keep the
memory of Ryan alive.
